Julia & Julie Movie

I watched Julia & Julie movie last night. I like the movie because many of the characters share the same name with people I love. I sometimes call my daughter Julia, Julie. Plus the movie gave me something to work on. I'm not into cooking, tried many times...and many times I failed too. Mom-in-law cooks for us; from her house, my assistant will get the food and it bring it home. Ha, you think that's cool! I don't, I feel useless! I'm also not saying that I will follow Julia Child's recipe, I won't! Her ingredients are far more different from where I am. What I plan to do is learn to cook one dish a day. Today, I cooked Binawangang Manok (Chicken with White Cream Garlic Sauce). My husband said it's good but judging from the leftover, I believe, I failed...again! But like Julie in the movie, I will try again tomorrow...follow my journey, whoever you are, I hope you'll be a part of this...and thank you.

  1. very good blog, congratulations
    regard from Reus Catalonia
    thank you

  2. matututo ka din sis, it takes a lot patience and willingness to learn.. nung una din ako mag try magluto I never thought na I can cook complicated dishes pero ngayon sisiw na :)

  3. I can almost relate..My mom is the certified cook in the house. I try to cook at times but only the easier ones.I'm glad, two years old pa lang daughter ko. Hindi pa sya marunong magcomplain kung hindi masarap ang luto ko, lol!

Thank you for the joyful comments!
