Oishi's SMART C+ Product Review

Smart C+ is the latest health drink from Oishi. I received the package 3 days ago, as promised, posting my review and thoughts about this new product.
Smart C+ three flavors - Lemon Squeeze, Orange Crush, and Pomelo Grapefruit. My favorite (and Julias too) among the 3 flavors is the Pomelo Grapefruit. The taste reminds me of Tang Pomelo, minus the powdery after taste. My husband likes the Lemon Squeeze. He said, "tastes light, very Pinoy, unlike other lemon drinks that tends to be too sweet or too sour". My son, Rafael, who likes the color orange, chose the Orange Crush. He brought 1 bottle to school, when he came home, he said, 'come on Mom, taste my orange flavor, you'll like it". Juan, my youngest son tasted all flavors and said he likes them all but would rather stick to Moms milk (yes, he's still breastfeeding at 4 yrs and 11 months!).

Printed on the bottle: Each 500ml bottle contains 500mg of Vitamin C. Smart C+ contains no added preservatives, artificial coloring, and artificial sweeteners. If this is all true, would be drinkers will get nothing but the full wholesome benefits of vitamin C that the body needs. That's great, right?
I am wife, mother, a daughter, a sister, a friend, a blogger, an events organizer, a party host. In short, I'm a multi-tasker! Having a multi-faceted life is no joke, not easy at all, especially now that we do not have a nanny and a househelp!
Health books say, a multi-faceted life can cause stress that lowers vitamin C levels. A depleted amount of vitamin C in the body can impair the synthesis of collagen. Collagen, a protein found in every single body cell, is the glue that holds the body together. It connects our tissues, supporting the skin, bones, tendons, cartilage, and muscles. Needed to maintain cellular integrity, collagen provides our cells with strength, flexibility, and resilience. Vitamin C enables the body to produce and maintain the collagen it needs to help our cells to recover from daily wear and tear.
I intensely dislike drinking vitamins in tablets or capsule forms, it feels as though it stays it my throat forever! With the new Smart C+ I'd still get my vitamin C punch to keep me hydrated and keep up with my multi-faceted joyful (sometimes a roller coaster) life.
