Nature Trip at Balite Falls

Having spent a lazy night at Residence Inn, I browsed a copy of Cavite-Tagaytay Tourism Brochure provided in our room and saw a photo of Balite Falls. I asked my husband if we can check out the place before heading back to Manila.

Balite Falls is in Barangay Halang, Amadeo, Cavite. They have ample parking for P30.00. Entrance is P75.00 per head, the nice staff charged me P75.00 only for my 3 kids, since he said, "they are small pa naman".

Although Balite Falls is a place you won't go ga-ga over with, this is still a nice place to visit especially for kids who are used to swimming pools and inflatable pools. This gives them that nature-feel experience.

I wouldn't recommend Balite Falls to people who doesn't like walking and or trekking for it will require one to use your feet A LOT! I had to go up and down many times for the washroom is located FAR, FAR AWAY!

During our visit, there were many Amadeo, Cavite residents who were swimming. They seemed a lot shy and aloof. I've asked three little kids to post with Rafael and Juan, they giggled and swam away.

This falls are rather small but it offers young and adult a refreshing water that is truly of natures bounty, NO CHLORINE, ALL NATURAL!

Below is a spot where little tots can safely swim.

Cottages are for rent for P350.00

One can event rent their Function Room for P5,000.00.

Julia didn't dip in the water but certainly enjoyed the view.

Bringing of food is allowed but packed food are sold here like adobong binalot and fish balls.

We were lucky to have met the town Mayor's wife, Ms. Alona Madlansacay, who gave John their famous Kapeng Amadeo and even invited us to visit their coffee plantation.
