Looking Younger

I'm turning 38 by July 12, but I get compliments that I don't look my age. Some say I look younger (like 37 1/2 only, LOL!). It pays to be petite, I look young. But of course I take care of my body and face.

When my mother was alive, I used to see her take Myra 300 E, basically because of the Vitamin E content. So I grew up thinking that, yes it's the Vitamin E that worked for her.

I have a very dry skin, but I don't worry about it before. Being on my late 30's (I'm JOYful and PROUD!) requires that I take extra care of my skin. One secret I'd like to share with you is the Vitamin E, literally speaking, that I use nowadays.

To make an illustration that these products work, coupled with a positive and cheerful outlook on life, below are photos taken last February when I visited my former work place - Medicard. With me are former office mates who are way younger than I.

No offense meant to you girls, you don't look old - I just look young (peace sisters!). Bear with me dear readers, my birthday is just 8 days to go.

Coco, I'm older by 5 years. I hired her in 2002 to be my Marketing Assistant. She now holds the position I vacated (happy for you Korina!)

Lea replaced me as HR Assistant, before I was transferred in Marketing.
She's younger by 6 years.

Nikki and Jean were both interviewed and hired by me in 2001, when I was still the Recruitment Personnel. I'm older, maybe by 7 or 8 years.

There are several Vitamin E benefits for your body: Some preliminary studies involving intakes of Vitamin E higher than the daily-recommended requirement have shown that Vitamin E may be useful in treating or possibly preventing:
• menstrual pain
• low sperm count
• inflammation of eye tissues
• cataracts
• restless leg syndrome or relief from muscle cramping
• Alzheimer’s disease
• Parkinson’s disease
• rheumatoid arthritis
• asthma
• various diabetes related complications and maybe helpful in treating and preventing diabetes itself.

Benefits of Vitamin E for skin care:
• vitamin e products help reduce the appearance of stretch marks
• vitamin e can help prevent the appearance of age spots
• it helps maintain the skin’s oil balance during the cleansing process
• it reduces transepidermal water loss from skin and strengthens the skin’s barrier function

  4. I'm one of those people whose routine can probably be set by clockwork. I do the same activities in the gym all the time, which I know isn't good for my level of progress.Does anyone know of any ladies fitness sites that specialize in showing varied, detailed, illustrated free-weight or mat exercises? I'm severely uncoordinated, so the more help, the better!

  5. Vit. E truly works wonders...but a JOYful disposition is the best for looking young-er. You truly live up to your name, Joy!

  6. I should continue taking Myra Vitamin E then.

Seriously speaking, di ko talaga inakala na mag 38 ka na. I thought late 20s or early 30s ka.
