That's The Way I Like It

It's been raining for days now, it's nice to just lie in bed and sleep. I haven't been myself for the past week. Going back to an old habit - taking too much choco mocha, keeps me awake at night. And because of that, cooking has not been a part of my routine lately. The next best thing to do when Mom or Dad feels too lazy to prepare food for the family is grab the City Delivery Directory, just dial 87878 or visit their website: http://www.citydelivery.ph.

City Delivery service caters sumptuous delicacies from Bale Dutung, Big Bob's, Chuck's Grubberie, Homemade Ravioli, Manang's Chicken, Mochiko, Merry Moo and Spring. All these can be found in Mercato Centrale.

Arrived at my door is a presentable, clean-looking and courteous delivery personnel, named Jayvin Fuentes. I'm particular with people handling my food delivery, that's why I discreetly check this young man's hands, specially the fingernails, and he passed my health inspection!

Since it was raining, it was nice that the food were inside a resealable plastic bags to ensure that the food does not get contaminated, thus maintaining the freshness of the food being delivered.

What my kids had: Food Delivery from Mochiko. Mochi is a Japanese confection made of glutinous rice flour or mochiko. It's like a buchi but the fillings of Mochi is ice cream. Julia, Rafael and Juan had Vanilla and Caramelo.

The kids will surely like this Mochi, as my kids did. I had to literally beg Julia, Rafael and Juan to save some for me. Ice cream inside a siopao-like bread, hmmm, brings back good ol' memories of my childhood---dirty ice cream on a bun!

What I had: Food Delivery from Big Bob’s Charcoal Grilled Burger. This is grilled patties stuffed with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses. The patties are 1/3 pound and they are cooked using a charcoal griller. This burger did not disappoint me, I'm supposed to save half of the burger to my husband but I finished it all. When I order burgers and steaks, I like the meat well-done. It's good that Big Bob did just "the way I like it" (aha, aha I like it!)...

It's still raining. I'm still feeling down and out. I'd like to grab a mug of hot choco mocha (but I won't) so I'm just leaving you guys and myself this song to kick the rainy day blues...And oh, give yourself sometime to relax and procrastinate, if you get hungry check out City Delivery Directory, just dial 87878 or visit their website: http://www.citydelivery.ph.
