Makati is the financial center of the Philippines. Before the sprout of other financial sites, such as Ortigas, The Fort and Libis, Makati has been there for a long time. Oh, but driving to Makati has always been my problem. One time I was caught entering a one way route, then caught being on the yellow 'bus' line, and so on and so forth. I've learned my lessons, so everytime I'd go to Makati I'd just take a cab, or walk (if Beda's with me, she knows every corner of Makati). Funny how it seems, I've worked in Makati for so long, but I'd still get lost in the area. I can drive from my place to Powerplant Mall, Makati-Mandaluyong Bridge to Makati Ave, or at H.V. Dela Costa Street (where I used to work). Then I'd leave my car somewhere (then I'll forget where I left it) so yeah, I'd rather take a cab or walk.
Going to Makati means planning it like a trip. I take vengeance in this place by enjoying every moment I spent in it by doing multiple tasks, such as...
...visiting bookstores, and buying books for people I'd like to bless and uplift
and visiting people close to my heart...
