Date or Soulmate

It's the best time to visit OMF Lit Bookshop, they're on sale until June 5, 2011. One of the books I highly recommend to single men and women: Date or Soulmate

Date or Soulmate

by Neil Clark Warren

SRP: P475 Now: P285

Dr. Warren shows readers how to hold out for God's best for their lives instead of settling for the first one to come along and outlines the factors that increase the chances for marital success. For those who want to become wiser in their relationship choices, this practical guide will help them find the love they want and avoid the pain they don't need.

Sam Concepcion

Samuel Lawrence Lopez Concepcion, in real life, emerged as the grand the winner for the Big Division of Little Big Star's Season 1 last April 2006. He is under STAGES and ABS-CBN's Star Magic.

This boy, fast becoming a man, is certainly going a long way.

HAPPY

Michael Jackson

Sadness had been close as my next of kin
Then happy came one day, chased my blues away
My life began when happy smiled
Sweet, like candy to a child
Stay here and love me just a while
Let sadness see what happy does
Let happy be where sadness was

Happy, that’s you
You made my life brand new
Lost as a little lam was I till you came in
My life began when happy smiled
Sweet, like candy to a child
Stay here and love me just a while
Let sadness see what happy does
Let happy be where sadness was
(till now)

Where have I been?
What lifetime was I in?
Suspended between time and space
Lonely until happy came smiling up at me
Sadness had no choice but to flee
I said a prayer so silently
Let sadness see what happy does
Let happy be where sadness was till now

Tam-Awan Village

This Tam-Awan Village trip was in 2008. It is a bit hard to locate Tam-Awan Village especially on first visit, but once found, it’s all worth the trouble of finding it. Tam-awan is located in 366-C Pinsao Proper, Baguio City.

This is one artist haven you’d better not miss when visiting the City of Pines. Tam-awam means vantage point. On a clear day, one can view the magnificent South China Sea sunset from Tam-awan's vantage point.
Tam-awan Village has become a venue for art exhibits and workshops envisioned to foster a deeper understanding, respect and pride in the cultural heritage of the Cordillera people.

A trip at Tam-Awan is an experience by itself, especially spending it with the whole family. Crossing this bamboo bridge proved to be an exciting trip for our little ones.

" The huts in Tam-awan Village are named after the areas where they come from. From Ifugao, we have the Bangaan Hut, Anaba Hut, Batad Hut, Dukligan Hut, Kinakin Hut, and Nagor Hut. Our Kalinga huts are from Luccong and Bugnay. Except for Bugnay Hut, which serves as one of the village’s galleries, lodgers are accepted in these huts", according to our tourit guide.

Guests gets an opportunity to stay overnight in some of the nipa huts that are available at a certain rate.

Men can play pretend, that of being a savage beasts (LOL)

Women, on the other hand, can pose to their hearts content and

take as many pictures as they want.

Nothing Beats Alaska

I used to join run/marathons when I was in Elementary and High School. Being a working student, I was forced to stop in College to focus on my work and school. After giving birth to Juan in 2006, I vowed to join run once again. Being an advocate of breastfeeding, I planned to join Mommy Milkshake Marathon in 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010. But each and everytime, something comes up that will forced me to back out from the race, like when my pair of running shoes broke (basically because of prolonged unused, har!har!). On Running, you will be needing a good pair of running shoes that will help you finish the race. I heard there's a new running shoes arriving in the Philippines soon. Well, here's hoping that this Momma-Running-Wannabe gets a pair from them (my shoe size 6).

Going back to my story, after reading Alaska Fun Run from Little Running Teacher, I immediately signed up. Many circumstances was forcing me to, once again, quit on this run like: I got sick, our race bibs got lost, we signed up for 3k but we were had no choice but to run at 5K and many more.

Alaska's motto, "wala pa ring tatalo sa Alaska", proved to be true for me on this race. Despite all odds, my family and I were able to join and finished Alaska's Family Fun Run.

(Arrived at the site at 5am)

(two thumbs-up at first kilometer)(had to drink three bottles of water at 2 kilometers)

(was planning to quit at 3 kilometers)(no more photo for the fourth kilometer, I was out of poise already. At 5km, I knew, I did) (John and the kids going for the finish line)
(finally, meeting my partner, Juan, at the finish line. Juan run a kilometer ahead of me!)

(The JOYFUL FINISHERS)

Reebok's ZIGTECH RUN

Still hoping we (John and I) can still join Reebook's ZIGTECH Run. Last day of registration is on May 31, 2011. For more info, visit Zigtech at FB

Subic Bay Venezia Hotel

Subic Bay Venezia Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of Subic Bay Freeport Zone just a walk away from the freeport gate. This Hotel is near to duty-free shops, entertainment zone and just stairs away to Pagcor Casino.

The rooms are quite spacious, even if you ask for an extra bed there will be plenty of space for little tots to play.

Venezia Hotel is not for people, especially family with little kids, who are seeking swimming pool, and the beach.

We find the following uncomfortable: no door to the bathroom area, from the bedroom, no control for the air conditioning, which makes its super cold at night. The room smelt tobacco.

There's nothing much to do here, except for television watching...
...which is a good thing, for it gives family time to bond, cuddle and...

High on Friendship

Living Life To The Fullest asked: "What are the things/situations that would make you feel like levitating?", hoping to win in LEVY's contest, this serves as my official entry.

Levitation according to dictionaries means the process of rising or being raised in the air; a movement upward in virtue of lightness.

In magic shows, we see bodies or things being raised presumably by spiritualistic means, but of course we all know it is just a magic trick!

I'm easy to please, receiving a card for instance from a fellow Mommy Blogger makes me want to levitate. A kiss from my children, a thank you Babe from my husband, a call from a sibling, a message from a former office mate...all these and this, FRIENDSHIP - that is based on honesty, sincerity and trust makes me levitate.

These five women has brought tremendous joy in my life for almost a year now. It's not always a happy event. There were times when I wanted to quit on them, but they refused to quit on me. I've been hurt in the past by friends who just quit and forget about friendship that's built for so long. What's best about this friendship is that our respective spouses and children are all in this too, as High School Musical puts it, We're All In this Together.
