Family Time and More at Tootsies

The stretch of Tagaytay ridge is coupled with restaurants overlooking Taal Lake but last November was one of those times when I really can't decide what to eat and where to eat because I was very hungry. I asked my husband to just proceed to the nearest food venue. Good thing the nearest was Tootsies. This is one restaurant I so wanted to try but we always miss for fear of getting caught in the traffic back in Manila.

We were fortunate to meet the owner, Ms. Tootsie, hence the name Tootsies. She graciously shared inspirational thoughts, family stories and their love for cooking Filipino food that resulted in Tootsies homecooked menu.

Ms. Tootsie personally tends to their clients whenever she's at Tootsies.

The homey ambiance at Tootsies is reminiscent of that in Baguio Country Club and Legend Villas
Due to insistent public demand (read: Julia, Rafael and Juan), Tootsies is now a part of our Tagaytay destinations. Why? They love Tootsies' adobo flakes.

With cousins Bang, Bea, Luis and Pauline at the rooftop while waiting for the food to be served.

Salute to Food Server, Jes, for the patience in dealing with hungry and rowdy family like ours.
