What will I learn?
You will learn the skills in saving a life during life threatening situations when a person stops breathing and his heart stops pumping. You can use these skills to save a baby, a child and even an adult. It is a hands on experience where you will be practicing the skills most of the time.

Who can attend?
Parents with babies and children, teachers, caregivers who
look after babies and children , the entire family!
Who will facilitate?
Doctors and medical allied professionals who are
certified American Heart Association trainers will facilitate
What to wear?
Come in comfortable clothes. Your attire should make it
easy for you to kneel or squat on the floor during the
hands on session.
Where? How to get there?
28th floor Function room Medical Plaza Ortigas ,
San Miguel Ave, Pasig City. It is infront of the Sonata
building of Robinsons being constructed (the Old
Medical City site), Lourdes School of Mandaluyong and
Richmond hotel. If you have a car, there is limited
parking in the building. There is also open parking along
Pearl drive at the back of San Miguel Ave. Or you can park your car in SM Megamall or Shangrila Mall and walk briefly to San Miguel Ave. (for a healthy dose of exercise!) If you are taking the MRT, you can get down in the Shaw Blvd Station and pass through Shangrila Mall to get to San Miguel Ave.
What if I am Pregnant or has Medical Condition?
If you are pregnant or has a medical condition that will
make it difficult for you to be on your knees or use your hands and arms extensively, you may need clearance from your doctor to participate.
What if I am late?
You will benefit the most from practicing the skills so come
in early. It’s a chance to meet other parents and child
caregiver like you. You may want to join another session if
you are more than 30 minutes late.
If I have taken a similar course before, should I
take this again?
It is highly recommended that you join and take it as a
refresher course. It is usually recommended to take
refresher courses every 2-3 years to review and practice
the skills. There are also changes in the recommendations
over the years so it is best to update yourself.
