Fennel Series Stainless Steel Collection

Chef’s Classics®, the leader in premium cookware and kitchenware, continues cookware innovation and elegance with the launch of its Fennel Series Stainless Steel Collection last February 7, 2013 at Enderun Colleges.

The cooking demonstration was headed by Chef See Cheong Yan, the Culinary Head at Enderun Colleges. He is responsible for overseeing the culinary arts department, curriculum development, and spearheading all culinary courses since the school’s pre-opening. He graduated from Les Roches in Switzerland with a Diploma in Hotel and Restaurant Management. Chef See also earned his Certificate in Business Administration, with honors, from Washington State University.

In addition to his education credentials, Chef See has over 20 years worth of experience in the field of culinary arts worldwide, having worked at the Kempinski Hotel and Traders Hotel in China and at Bahnhof Buffet SBB Basel in Switzerland, among others.

In the Philippines, Chef See has led the kitchen operations of Edsa Shangri-La, Hyatt Regency Manila and Tagaytay Highlands. Truly an international citizen, Chef See speaks English, Bahasa Malaysia, Cantonese, Mandarin, French and Filipino fluently.

Designed with a brushed stainless steel satin finish and mirror polish, it complements both traditional and contemporary kitchen décor, allowing the Chef’s Classics Fennel Series collection to perfectly define commercial elegance.

Oven safe up to 500F, its straight, convenient shape is gently flared for drip proof pouring and easy cleaning.  It also delivers exceptionally controlled heating, which eliminates consumer frustrations that lead to inconsistent cooking results.  And at the heart of its already unique features, its core heats and cools evenly to help maintain a more consistent temperature across the entire pan.

“These days, chefs, culinary practitioners and homemakers look for cookware that’s not only aesthetically designed and durable, but also offers consistent cooking performance,” says Marissa Nazareno, brand manager for Chef’s Classics. “The Fennels Series’ unique features and design makes it our most even-heating cookware collection to date, and we’re excited to bring this level of innovation and performance to their respective kitchens!’

The collection is dishwasher safe and is likewise gas, electric, oven and broiler ready. It has a magnetic stainless steel exterior compatible with all types of cooktops, including energy-efficient induction. Interior capacity markings are laser etched in saucepans and stockpots for ease in measuring ingredients.

Long, contour-shaped stainless steel handles are expertly finished from cast.  They stay cool and come with heavy-duty stainless steel rivets for durability.  Its impact-bonded base allows for quick and even heating, and covers are made from tempered safety glass with a stainless steel rim that fits securely over the pan.  Its cover is oven-safe up to 350F and comes with an air vent for easy food monitoring while cooking.

The Chef’s Classics Fennel Series is available as a 7-piece set and individually as open stock all leading department stores nationwide.  For more information, please visit www.ljs.com.ph/chefsclassics.  Like on facebook.com/ChefsClassics and follow on  twitter.com/ChefsClassics
