Silver Linings Playbook Movie

John  and I were supposed to watch The Flight movie of Denzel Washington last Wednesday., unfortunately it's  not showing anymore.  Without much choice, we decided to go in for Silver Linings, starring Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Lawrence.

First of, we didn't know much about this movie except that Jennifer Lawrence won Best Actress from Golden Globe and Academy Awards.

After the movie, both John and I said, "buti na lang we watched this movie". Jennifer certainly deserves to win the Best Actress for she gave an outstanding performance. I won't review this movie, watch it and know that for every cloud there is a silver lining. This is a movie that shows about finding hope and love in the most mundane situation.

After suffering for years with an undiagnosed bipolar disorder, high school teacher Pat (Bradley Cooper) is sent to a psychiatric facility following a violent incident sparked by him finding his wife having sex with a co-worker. Eight months later he's released into his parents' (Robert De Niro, Jacki Weaver) care. He's hoping to win back his wife, despite the fact that she's put a restraining order on him. Still given to odd rants and inappropriate comments, Pat meets Tiffany (Jennifer Lawrence), a young widow who had a breakdown following the death of her husband. She offers to help him win back his wife if he'll enter a dance competition with her.
