Biyaya ng Buko

Meet my friendly neighborhood Kuya Magbubuko, Manuelito Elacion Dublon, Nognog for short.   Most of the time it's my husband who buys from Kuya Nognog. But today, I made sure I get to interview him and take some photos.

Nognog is the youngest among 11 children. He is married with 2 kids, ages 2 years old and 1 year old. He buys the buko at P18.50 and sells it at P25.00. He earns around P500  on a good day, "wag lang uulan", he said. The husks are given to barangay to be made into fertilizer.

Ang sarap makipag kwentuhan sa bawat tao because I get to learn many things in life. A lot of people take many things for granted but not Kuya Nognog. He is a man that sees the positive in life, read why...
