Nu Mom - Bidang Nanay Be The Nanay

Being an advocate of breastfeeding, I also encourage moms to eat malunggay.  But when people hear about malunggay tablets or capsules, the first thing that comes to mind is that it is for breast feeding mothers.

Dr. Lourdes Escobar of the Perpetual Succor Hospital said malunggay contains more vitamins like A, C and E as well as much calcium, iron, potassium, niacin, thiamin, carbohydrates and protein compared to other well known food sources of these much needed nutrients. Having said that, did you know that malunggay (Moringa oleifera) is also good for non-lactating mothers? In fact it could even be taken by nkids and men for that daily source of vitamins and minerals.

Why should men take malunggay? According to Bureau of Plan and Industry, malunggay particularly its fruit helps raise the sperm count in men. The Food and Nutrition Research Institute (FNRI) on the otrge hand said that malunggay is also known for its antibiotic, antifungal and anti-oxidant properties.

With all the positive findings about malunggay, Corbridge Group Philippines, Inc., launched last week at Anabels Restaurant in Timog, Quezon City, Nu Mom - a malunggay supplement. TinTin Bersola-Babao - Nu Moms Ambassador, graced the event, wearing striking green to represent the wonder malunggay.

Nu Mom contains Folic Acid that helps prevent major birth defects of the baby’s brain or spine, help treat headaches, bacterial and fungal skin complaints, as well as help lower blood pressure and prevent diabetes and tumor. Nu Moms, which has a combined 350mg malunggay and 400mcg Folic Acid formulation and available at P8.75 per capsule, is ideal for kids, men, and women – whether pregnant, already a mother or not - as it helps normalize sugar level, properly maintained liver and kidney, improved food digestion, stronger bones and immune system, smoother skin, clearer eyesight, and good sleep.

To all the moms out there, try Nu Mom malunggay capsule and be a Bidang Nanay, Be The Nanay!
