Sign of Aging - Throwback and Time

On the way to Nora's house for her birthday celebration...

John: Babe, ano nga street nila Nora?
Me: Forgot na basta it starts with letter M...Ahhh, Metallica yata.
John: Nope, banda yan e. I think it's Maternica.
Me: Wait, I'll call Nora...(after a few minutes) Ay naku Dad, It's not Metallica, not Maternica either, it's Metrica Street.

The above conversation is just one of the signs when people gets old - makakalimutin na! Another sign of aging is when people do the throwback thing. Usong uso ngayon yan. So here's my sign of aging, the throwback series...

I met with my college friends last Tuesday at Shangri-La Mall and had lunch at Figaro. Russel had been mentioning names of our classmates. Jonie, Robert and I remember some of the name but most we cannot.

With Russel, Robert and Jonie

After lunch a tall young man arrived in school uniform.
He's my inaanak, Edward. I last saw him when he was just a baby.

Edward, now at 17           Edward when he was a baby, the girl is her Ate Darriane

Time flies so fast, right? Kaya, it's important to meet with friends from time to time.

“Time is free, but it's priceless.
You can't own it, but you can use it.
You can't keep it, but you can spend it.
Once you've lost it you can never get it back.”
