Wonderful Wednesdays: Patience is a Virtue

Although I know friends and relatives who suffered from the agony of waiting for their line to be transferred but to no avail, I took the words of PLDT that it will only take 2 to 3 weeks for our line to be transferred.

John and I almost switched to Globe but because we like our line, we waited and waited and waited. After three months, exactly today, our telephone line and internet has been transferred in our UK house! I couldn't be happier! Indeed, the line "patience is a virtue" is true.

I'd like to thank my friends, Lyn and Nora for unselfishly lending their hands. Lyn allowed me to use her portable landline, while Nora updated my blog and FB.  If not for Lyn's telephone, I wouldn't be able to connect to family, friends and clients. If not for Nora's help, I'll be left with a lot of pending posts for this blog. What we did? Using Lyn's portable landline, Nora and I communicated. I told her my thoughts and she brilliantly executed all that I wanted to write.

If you are transferring to a new place and is thinking of retaining your line, think again for it's easier to get a new line than what we opted to do. You would not want to experience what we experienced.

For now, I'll savor the night by writing down my thoughts to share with you in the coming days.

I miss you all my dear readers...

"Our real blessings often appear to us in the shape of pains,
losses and disappointments;  but let us have patience
and we soon shall see them in their proper figures."
- Joseph Addison

    1. I stopped trusting people when I was hacked a few years back. I stopped believing in the goodness of people when I was persecuted by "supposed" friends last year. Because of you, I gained all those that I lost. THANKS NUTS, you helped believe in friendship again...Emo-ing, pmsing, midlife crisis syndrome-ing...
