We recently got PLDT's Telpad and as a new subscriber we won movie passes to a block screening of Guardians of the Galaxy which was held last night at Powerplant Cinema.
I was ready to fall asleep for I didn't expect to enjoy Guardians of the Galaxy. I was just there to accompany John and the kids and hand them out there snacks, and assist Juancho in going back and forth to the restroom but I ended up loving the movie! Juancho even hold his pee because he liked the movie so much. After the movie, he said, "Mom, the movie is so nice! I pigil my wee wee, so as not to miss a scene".
The characters are played well by all the actors. The kids will specifically love Rocket Raccoon (voice by Bradley Cooper) and Groot (voice by Vin Diesel).
I'm not a Chris Pratt fan, but he nailed the character of Peter Quill, a.k.a. Star Lord. His comedic timing is suave and well executed. Now, I like him!
The songs were written into the script and baked into the story of the Guardians of the Galaxy which is what makes it work so well. The soundtrack features classic 1970s songs, so if you're a 70's baby just like me, you'll definitely enjoy watching this movie.
Rated PG, I highly recommend this movie for the whole family.
