The Heart and Soul of View Park Hotel

It's the first day of November. What better way to start the month is by writing about happy moments.

We headed last October 29 in Tagaytay. We were not expecting much from this trip since we have been there a thousand times, doing the same things over and over. It actually took us 2 years to go back for an overnight stay in Tagaytay because the kids got simply bored.

Our destination -  View Park Hotel. We've seen the sign of  View Park Hotel since 2008 but we find the hotel's facade not that inviting.

We had an aha moment as soon as we parked the car. Hidden at the back is the real package.  Dito na pumapasok ang kasabihang, "Do not judge the book by its cover". Our sights feasted on the beautiful fusion of Asian and Neo-Italian architecture. Ito pala ay malaki at maganda sa loob! They can accommodate company seminars and conferences, weddings, debut and other social and family occasions.

The tastefully crafted interiors  reminded us of home. The choice of color is soothing to the eyes.

The room where John and I stayed is a business suite. It has living, dining and kitchen areas. Amenities include complimentary breakfast and lunch or dinner, free massage, wi-fi, cable/DVD player, fridge/mini bar, complimentary bottled water, hair dryer/bath kit, room safe, and John's favorite - bath tub. O sya na nga, favorite ko din, hehehe!

The room where the kids stayed is Junior Suite. Amenities include  wi-fi, cable/DVD player, fridge/mini bar, complimentary bottled water, hair dryer/bath kit, bath tub, and room safe. Julia, Juan and Rafael had fun bonding with their cousins' - Gabe and Meeca, over movie marathon.

Because I was coming with 5 kids, They were proactive to set-up an additional bed upon our arrival. What a service!
When staying in View Park Hotel I must warn you about the food, it will ruin your diet for they serve great-tasting food! Imagine kare-kare, bulalo, beef tapa and more.  I'm short for words when it comes to food so let this video do the talking.

What's best about View Park Hotel is that they do not only think about their business. They actually promote eco-tourism in Tagaytay via a tie-up with Puzzle Mansion, Museo Orlina, Sky Ranch, Picnic Grove, Residence Inn, San Nicolas Trek, Gratchi's Getaway. They even have recommendations on where to shop, the foodie trail and meditation venues. They have packages if you want to visit one or two or three, or maybe all of the above mentioned places should you have plenty of time.

We visited Picnic Grove, Sky Ranch, Museo Orlina and Puzzle Mansion. We didn't have to worry  and line up for the ticket entrance because View Park Hotel took care of it.

John and I forgot our scheduled spa treatment at 9pm but the staff graciously asked me if we want it done the next day. And so we did! I'm the kind of person who can't sleep while having massage, but at View Park Hotel Spa, I slept soundly.

Our blood pressure were taken before starting the massage.

I went around talking with some of the guests. I'm sure, they too, felt well-taken cared of at View Park Hotel.

Olivia and son, Pope, from Cagayan, are staying with their family.
I am by heart a people-person. I like taking care and entertaining people so I feel blessed when someone does the same to me. All the staff and the management of View Park Hotel exceeded our expectations.  They were sincerely accommodating, friendly and in relax mode. They didn't have to do that just because it's whats expected of them. I feel that they do it because they are happy doing it. It simply means that the heart and soul of View Park Hotel rests on its people.

I wanted to take photos of them all but it would mean disturbing their work. So here are some of the nicest people in the whole wide world...

I, along with my family, felt warmth and genuine care from the people of View Park Hotel. My family had a wonderful time that the kids were asking, "Mom, when are we going back?".
