Cagsawa Ruins

Cagsawa Ruins, also spelled as Kagsawa or Cagsaua, is one of the most visited places in the Bicol Region of the Philippines. It shows the remains of the 18th-century Franciscan church, which was built in 1724.

When in Bicol, you shouldn't miss this tourist spot. It's just that, the sound coming from the unpleasant speakers, ruins the solemnity of the place. It would be better if the people in-charge there will play classical music that suits the place better.

There were trashes here and there. We saw diaper on top of one of the ruins which makes the place dirty. I hope that the tourists will be more disciplined while enjoying the view of  Cagsawa Ruins and the surrounding areas.

From this view, you can actually have a nice view of Mayon Volcano.
Unfortunately for us, it was a foggy-kind of day.

What can you do while in Cagsawa Ruins? The girls can take lots and lots of photos, while the boys can rent and ride an ATV.

Have a taste of pinangat and sili shake

Buy souvenir and pasalubong.

Let Manila kids taste an authentic Bicol favorites - pinangat and bicol express.

If you're lucky, catch a rainbow and follow the end. Who knows, you might find a pot of gold.
