Watching family or kid adventure movies is often my way of catching a power nap. I've seen the first two Night at the Museum movies but I slept half of the time. Forgive me, I was dead tired that time.
Last Sunday at Greenhills Cinema, I made sure I was wide awake to watch Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb because it's one of the last performances for two of Hollywood's greats - Robin Williams and Mickey Rooney. Williams is probably the most important reason why this film should be seen because this will be one of the very last times when we will see him on the big screen.
They also included new characters in the film, namely Rebel Wilson as the motor-mouth British museum night guard, Dan Stevens as Sir Lancelot and Ben Stiller as Neanderthal Laah.
Despite some lack adrenaline rush than the first Night at the Museum, Shawn Levy's Night at the Museum: Secret of the Tomb is still good clean fun for the whole family to watch.
And oh, if you're a Hugh Jackman fan like me, you have to watch this movie. His presence kept my laughs coming. He's sexily gorgeous even in comedy films like this!
Rating:
PG (for mild action, some rude humor and brief language)
Genre: Action & Adventure , Comedy
