Alamid became popular in the music scene via the first single "Your Love". This song happens to be one of my favorite love songs written and sang by a Filipino artist - Gary Ignacio. Your Love has been intrumental in cementing my relationship with my boyfriend, now my husband, because he likes singing this song for me.
Sadly, Gary is sick and in need of financial help to cover medical expenses. His friends organized a benefit concert for Gary, entitled "A Concert for Life", happening on February 26, 8:00pm - 2:00am, at Hard Rock Cafe Philippines, Levels 3 & 4, Glorietta III Ayala Center, Makati.
Featuring Arpie and the Multivitamins, Innervoices, The Company, Mike Chan, Rannie Raymundo, Henry Katindig, Jeannie Tiongco, Richard Merk, Alamid, Climax,70's superband, Meynard Penalosa, saxophonist Joseph Cabanero, Percussionist Uly Avantes and more.
