Pilgrimage at REGINA RICA

Regina RICA is a 13.5 hectare land at the foothills of the Sierra Madre Mountains. The Dominican Sisters of Regina Rosarii, was founded by Sister Mary Epifania F. Brasil, OP on May 13, 2005 . I first heard about Regina Rica from my friend, Jingle. Then more people were talking about it as a healing place and  a pilgrimage center that gathers many people from all walks of life to experience silence, stillness and serenity.  Mr. Olarte told us his cancer was cured through the intercession of the sisters of Regina Rica. Since then I wanted to visit the place to feel the presence of Mama Mary and the miracles.

Our previous plans to visit were all in vain until we finally made it at Regina Rica yesterday.  It was a perfect timing us we offered our pilgrimage to my friend and her daughter, to my father, uncle and cousin who are all sick.

We left Mandaluyong around 730am and made it at 10:30am with a lot of stop to ask for directions. The road going to Regina Rica is good, just be sure to leave home early so you won't get stuck in traffic as there are road repairs from Pasig, Cainta, all the way going to Antipolo.

Though we were not able to go inside the mantle of Our Lady as it is being extended, visitors were allowed to light candles and take photos.

We were able to join The Mass (11am).  Before the mass, sisters facilitated a contemplative prayer to experience peace, quietness, prayerful atmosphere and the presence of Our Lady, Regina Rosarii,

We had lunch at Pasilungan

We went to Regina Rica to pray for friends and relatives who are sick and suffering from emotional, spiritual and physical pain. As soon as we got home I received a message from a friend that her daughter opened her heart, accepted her sins and agreed to be healed. My friend lives miles away from me, she didn't even know we were going at Regina Rica.

A few reminders:

Dress code for female, no shorts and sleeveless. Don't worry, in case some of you ladies forget, Regina Rica have skirts available for borrowing.

You may bring a car but will only be allowed up to a certain point.
Don't worry they have golf cars and wheelchairs available for those having difficulty walking.

You can bring packed food but I'm not sure if the huts are for rent or free of charge.
