I get to visit my mom twice a year in La Loma; during her death anniversary, April 9th and her birthday, October 31.
I knew I wouldn't be able to visit Mama this time because I was not feeling well prior and til her birthday.
Despite my condition and adding to the fact that traffic is terrible during Halloween, I got to visit Mama by biking from my place to La Loma because I always believe in the saying, "if there's a will, there's a way".
Mama would have been 66 years old today...

My life and bike buddy
My father, siblings, nephews and nieces were there when we arrived. They knew I was not coming.
Papa, Tita Jo and younger brother Jubert
Kuya Bob and Andrei
Bea and Bang
Yuri, Waldy, Charlize and Liz
To reward my husband for his unending support,
on the way back home, we stopped by Kowloon House to buy John's favorite siopao.
