Samsung Digital Appliances' 7th Cooking Workshop with Chef Ernest Gala

There are three things I did today that are all firsts time. It was my first time to join Samsung Digital Appliances Cooking Workshop, first time to meet Chef Ernest Gala in person, and it was my first time to visit GalaStars Culinary School in Pasig City.

It was a highly active day as bloggers were taught by Chef Ernest  two Asian inspired dishes for the family food trip.

Wacoal Sports Bra Collection

Philippine Wacoal Corporation, one of the country’s top intimate apparel firms, launched its Sports Bra Collection at The City Club in Alphaland Makati earlier today. This is one of those events I'd find time to attend because I'm a Wacoal user for a long time now. Plus, The City Club is close to my heart because this is where my kids attend basketball under Coach Nic Belasco and Coach Ali Peek.

Ms. Marivic Fajardo and the rest of Wacoal people accommodated us very well.  Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!

\
“Helping empowering women has always been one of Wacoal’s mission since it came to the Philippines in 1989, in addition to providing high quality products and superior customer service to our patrons. The new high-quality product line which caters to light, medium and hard-impact sports was created using fine fabric and state-of-the-art Japanese technology.” says Philippine Wacoal Corporation, President Ms. Ann Christine Palisoc.

Today’s women are active breed who regularly engage in various sports activities and physical workouts to keep them in tip-top shape as they go about the hectic week work. In addition, they face the challenging rigors of fast-paced urban living which keep them always on the move.

The light-impact bra
The light-impact bra is a racer back-style which features a non-wire moulded cup for utmost comfort and great hook and eye reinforcements to help ease of movement while doing stretching, yoga,
Pilates and similar light activities.

The medium-impact
The medium-impact type is a non-wired sports bra that gives essential support and comfort, with its thick straps giving the bust a stable lift even when in motion. It’s perfect for aerobic activities like brisk walking, stair climbing or dancing.

High-impact sports bra
Meanwhile, the high-impact sports bra is a slightly-padded, racerback which provides full support and confidence when doing intense workout like high-intensity dance exercises, boxing, and running. This bra also has compression features that allow breasts to move  in unison with the torso and minimize the bouncing movement.

After the short presentation, bloggers were given the choice to try different activities. I opted for a 15-minute back massage as I needed it badly.

With Kris-belle Mamangun of Ballet Philippines

Bloggers were given the chance to choose Wacoal Sports Bra specific for their needs.
I chose the medium impact for my brisk walking and occasional zumba session.

In the Philippines, Wacoal has grown steadily over the years and is now among the top brands in the intimate apparel industry. It is also one of the widely distributed across the country with 52 department store counters and 8 direct sales branches. Philippine Wacoal lives by its motto “Every Body Loves Wacoal” to emphasize its flexibility and versatility on all body types.

To Pass or To Fail Book 2 - Paano Maging Best Youth Ever

Written in taglish (Tagalog-English) or should I say Fillish (Filipino-English) To Pass or To Fail Book 2 - Paano Maging Best Youth Ever talks about how you can pass the test of life. Sa linya ng may akda, "ibababad ka nito sa mga prinsipyo kung paano maging matatag na estudyante ng buhay".

I highly recommend this book, by Ronald Molmisa, both for young and old who can't find focus and purpose in life, it is an easy read with just 140 pages.  The author's tips and suggestions is both biblical and logical.

Chapter 1 - Wala ng Pabebe

Chapter 2 -  Ikaw na, talks about knowing "who am I", appreciating your personality, cultivating a healthy self-esteem and knowing about God's purpose of your life.

Chapter 3 -  Ramdam Kita, is all about increasing emotional intelligence (EI), getting rid of toxic relationships, taming tongue, forgiveness and love.

Chapter 4 - Push Mo Yan, is knowing and learning to be the child of God, ability to do things and loving what you do.

Chapter 5 - Bahala na si Bayman is all about knowing your priorities.

Chapter 6 - Level-up Pa More

Chapter 7 - Para Kanino Ka Bumabangon

Chapter 8 - Achieve na Achieve

Ang Diary ng Legal Wife

Ang Diary ng Legal Wife is a book of hope para sa mukhang hopeless na marriage, written by Malu Tiongson-Ortiz. This 150-page book is sold at all OMF Lit for only P75.00. I bought this book at the Launch of OMF's New Inspiring Books to be given to a friend who's marriage is about to collapse.

About the book:

There are 9 chapters in this book, namely, Ang Pag-aasawa'y di biro, Mahal Mo Ba ang Asawa Mo?, The Legal Wife, The Other Woman, Maghiwalay na Tayo!, Paano na ang Kids Namin?, Annulment: Solusyon o Ilusyon?, The Antidote and Life Goes On.

“Hindi ko na kaya. Maghiwalay na tayo!” Gulong-gulo na isip mo sa kaka-analyze. Hindi ka na nakakatulog o nakakapagtrabaho. And each time you try talking sense to your husband, hindi naman nagre-register. Kaya argue ulit. Iyak. Worry. Tiis. “Nasisiraan na ako ng bait,” feeling mo. “We have to separate. Wala nang ibang paraan.”
Pero wala na nga ba talaga? Is separation or annulment the only way out of your torment? In this honest and comforting book, Malu Ortiz offers guidance and help. No stranger to suffering, Ortiz shows how you can find hope—even in the midst of a crumbling marriage.
