Slappy Cakes New Menu

Going to SM Aura means scheduling it during the non-peak hours to avoid traffic. But when I think about the lively orange hues of Slappy Cakes’, it is enough reason to make me get up and drive. Of course, aside from good food, Slappy Cakes' great service is two thumbs up. Plus, the place is kid and family-friendly.

Earlier today, at SM Aura Premier Taguig, Slappy Cakes introduced new menu, with none other than Chef Him de Baron's creations.

Chef Him said, "I kept the heritage of the brand intact and at the same time, considered food that Pinoys constantly crave for at Slappy Cakes. The D-I-Y process which we incorporated is different. It’s interactive and perfect for groups such as families, friends and work mates. Then of course dishes that are indulgent but still easy to have everyday."

At Slappy Cakes, sumptuous food is the focus, and the key in achieving this is with expert use of ingredients as well as in creative presentation of dishes. It is also a combination of other things – exceptional service that ensures memorable dining experience, strict quality control and a penchant for menu items that are creative.  Patrons also return for a deeper appreciation of old favorites or for the excitement of new adventures.

Items that jump off the menu with a promise of culinary genius are the Caesar Salad with Ginger Aioli, Creole Style Shrimp Crepe, and the Sausage Pasta. The mouth-watering line-up also includes the Chorizo Jam Melt, the Breakfast Wagyu Burger and a selection of D-I-Y Skillets that is sure to bring added excitement to the table!

Other dishes guaranteed to keep you coming back are the Carbonara Roll-up, Pop’s Pot Roast, Salmon Benedict and Bacon Benedict. And a must for both old timers and new comers is the Make-Your-Own Pancakes with four batters to choose from – buttermilk, peanut butter, chocolate and red velvet.
