I've been wanting to visit Majayjay Falls for as long as I can remember. But we always end up going to Liliw. Why not, Liliw is such a nice place too. The #Mendiolables visit to Costales Nature Farm was so worth it because they have included in their package a tour to Majayjay Falls. Finally, I can now cross it on my list. Thanks to Costales Nature Farm!
We originally planned to swim but because there were many people during our visit, we just enjoyed the view for just 30 minutes. We'll probably just go back at this falls when we again visit the lush and relaxing place of Majayjay. Laguna.
Majayjay Falls is also actually Taytay Falls since it is located at Brgy. Gagalo, Taytay. It is also called Imelda Falls because it was the former First Lady Imelda Marcos who financed the promotion of tourism in this place.
If you travel by car, it'll take you 2 1/2 hours. If you take public transport, probably 3 to 4 hours.
There's an entrance fee of P20 per person
You can actually stay for the night using tents but there's no electricity and phone coverage.
Restrooms and shower area is available but needs a lot of cleaning
Expect lots of campers and visitors during summer and holidays season.
You can bring food and have picnic in the area.
