Pedestrian Lane

The photo below was taken 2 years ago. The time when I drive for my little boy going to school. Juancho was just 8 that time, he is now 10. Since last year Juancho wanted to be like his twin siblings, to commute going to school. I told him I'm not yet ready because he was just 9 years old.

Since the start of classes this June, he kept on bugging me he wanted to commute going to school . I'm still not ready but my husband told me to let Juancho loose; and that it will make him a stronger person in the future. So today, even if I'm not fully ready, I let my youngest son, commute. His school is just actually 5 to 10 minutes away by car. If Juancho commutes, it will take him about 20 to 30 minutes, with 2 jeepney rides.

Am I worried? Yes! Not because I don't trust my son; it is because of drivers who do not know what a pedestrian lane and other traffic rules are.

I took this photo a week ago.
This intercsection is the actual place where my son will cross to ride the second jeepney.
Am I worried? Yes, yes, yes, I'm worried!
