Filipinos are known for Adobo and this dish may be number one among Pinoy's favorite. As for me, it is sinigang! Be it Sinigang na isda, pork or just plain sinigang na gulay. I can eat sinigang 7 days a week because it is a complete dish. I remember my Home Economics teacher in elementary said, "Sinigang is a go, grow and glow food. There's carbohydrate from gabi/kamote; protein in meat and vitamins and minerals from the veggies". Since then, my love affair with sinigang was cemented.
Last night at The Cookery in BGC for Knorr Sarap ng Lutong Nanay Event, I learned new ways of cooking sinigang, namely, Knorr Sinigang with Pakwan, Knorr Surf and Turf Sinigang, Knorr Sinigang na Grilled Liempo, Knorr Sizzling Sinigang.
I came late for this event because of the heavy rain, followed by traffic so I didn't get to join the cooking but I did help my group by doing the plating and captured this video for all the mommy bloggers present.

When I was invited to be a part of Knorr Lutong Nanay campaign, I said yes immediately because I grew up with Knorr seing my Mama and Lola cook with Knorr's different seasonings. When I married my husband, I saw Mama-in-law cooking with Knorr, too. Naturally, Knorr became a part of the #Mendiolables household.
What is Knorr’s #LutongNanay campaign?
Now on its third year, Knorr aims to help more moms bring the family closer through the best flavors in their cooking, as they continue to champion delicious, home-cooked meals for the Filipino family, . Sino pa ba ang makakaalam ng paboritong luto ng asawa at mga anak? Syempre si Nanay! Knorr's goal is to bring back the value behind home cooked meals especially now that people live in this fast-paced world. The Lutong Nanay campaign helps busy and working moms find time to cook for her family by introducing simple, smart and great-tasting dishes from inspired recipes.
