To all the bashers of Maxine Medina, please be kind enough to stop saying mean words to her in social media. Let's face it, Maxine had a large shoe to fill. Every Filipino is expecting or at least hoping to get a back-to-back win. Ang stress at pagod nya pa. Ako nga noon, Miss Barangay lang na contest e nahirapan, si Maxine pa ba. Kidding aside, Maxine did her best. Pero ika nga sa Pinoy na kasabihan, "pag hindi uukol, hindi bubukol".
Congratulations Maxine for making it to the Top 6. Miss Haiti - Raquel Pelissier bagged first runner-up and second runner-up was Ms. Colombia - Andrea Tovar.
To Ms. France, Iris Mittenaere, mabuhay ka! She's the second Ms. France to win the title since 1953. Para talaga sa kanya ang crown. Mittenaere, 24, is a Parisian native, currently pursuing a degree in dental surgery. She plans to use her Miss Universe platform to advocate for dental and oral hygiene.
