Ang Huling Chacha ni Anita

Last weeks schedule was kind of tight. I ahd three events to attend but I had to let go of the first one and came late on the last event because I couldn't let an opportubity to to support my friend star for Ang Huling Chacha ni Anita special screening at Megamall.

It was a special night as Lyn and I got to bond again after a long time of being busy in our respective lives.

Ang Huling Cha-Cha ni Anita is a by Sigrid Andrea Bernardo, which tackles the coming of age and the coming out of the main character Anita. Teenage pregnancy, abortion and rural life are other topics shown in this film.

Teri Malvar portrayed the 13-year-old Anita, who portaryed the role without ease, considering she's a new comer.  She is the only daughter of Lolita (Lui Manansala), a Santa Clara devotee whose only desire for Anita is that she grows up to be a beauty queen. Anita, however, has desires more pressing than her mother's.  (Angel Aquino plays Pilar, who is seen in the town as an unwanted local because she left her sick father just to work abroad. Some twists unfolds in the end, of course as it always do in all films.
