I used to be very active in events planning and hosting. I have probably organized hundreds of parties from weddings, birthdays, reunions and corporate events from 1990s up to 2011. Though I still host and organize events from time to time, I semi-retired in accepting big number of clients when we built our house in 2013.
For years, many of my clients preferred Hizon's Catering so I'm familiar with Hizons food. I've also frequented Hizon's headquarters in Quezon City to bring clients for food tasting.
Having affinity with Hizon's Catering, I couldn't say no to Nana's invite to grace her event even if it fell on my natal day. When all I wanted to do on my 44th birthday was to sleep the whole day, I got the best surprise I have never experienced before. Wala pang nakapag surprise sa akin. Akala ko sa 50th birthday ko pa mararanasan ito, sa 44th pala! Thanks Nana and Hizons. Truly, Hizon's Catering throws party like no other!
Before my friends and relatives feel bad, I'd like to say it again, this was not my personal party. This was a quadruple bash exclusively for bloggers to showcase Hizon’s Catering versatility through a different party occupied each of the four corners of Oasis Manila’s Pavilion.
The wedding was formal and featured an extensive buffet of soup, salad, and main course options plus a carving station. In contrast was the no-frills breakfast seminar set-up which had a spread of omelette filling choices and a cooking station. Appealing to the child in all the guests was the circus-inspired look of the kiddie party matched by a menu of finger food that suit the palate of tiny tots. It was all glam at the awards night section where hor d’oeuvres were passed around by waiters and a dessert spread was laid out to the attendees. The four events provided a glimpse of how Hizon’s Catering can make your dream event happen.

Being in catering industry for the past 27 years, Hizon’s Restaurant and Catering Inc., is one of best caterer in the country, specializing in weddings, private parties and corporate events. As Ms. Baby Hizon, Hizon’s Catering family matriarch who started it all takes a backseat, her son Joseph is now headlining their business as General Manager. Joseph's many innovative projects within the company such as implementing a computerized system makes Hizon's Catering stronger than ever. It was great to meet Joseph who celebrated his birthday just a day after mine.
Joseph is a graduate of Economics at the De La Salle University (DLSU) in Manila. He finished his Master’s Degree in Economics at the Asian Institute of Management and has been helping his mother in managing the company.
Hizon’s Catering’s operations is housed in a fully equipped 2,500-square meter commissary in Quezon City where a trained culinary team creates mouth watering treats as well as hygienic preparation to meet the demand of its customers through a diverse local and international cuisines.
