They say that striped shirt is a staple that will never go out of style. Although I like stripes a lot, I was never a fan wearing it when I was young. As a petite and chubby young girl, it felt stripes makes me look bigger and shorter.
Now at 44, I got over the fear of wearing stripes. Life's too short not to wear all my stripes clothes anyway. I must say, the possibilities of pairing stripes with other patterns like denim, leather, khaki and others are endless!
How To Wear Stripes? Choose items that aren’t fully striped, wear skinny stripes can lengthen the body. Add solid layers to balance out the horizontal stripes. Accentuate with a belt to define your hourglass figure. Tighten the lines with a form fitting dress that’ll keep you looking leaner.
