Christmas means love for me. Love for family. Love for friends. Love for the cold weather. Love for Chestnuts.
Chestnuts are commonly sold in the Philippines during Christmas. It's no wonder I savor eating these even from breakfast to midnight snack.
My husband brought a kilo of chestnuts today for me. Although it's my favorite, my right hand is hurting due to a bad fall last night so I'm having difficulty peeling it. Thanks to my son Rafael for doing me an act of love and service. He peeled 1 kilo of chestnuts for me! Half a kilo for lunch. Half a kilo for dinner.
