Today as Filipinos commemorate Araw ng Kagitingan, I salute the true heroes in my life - my parents.
It has been 25 years ago today since Mama left this world. Even up to her last day, her only wish for me is to have someone who'll love me because she knew that even if I'm tough on the outside, I'm actually fragile. Mama taught me how to forgive even if forgiveness is not warranted.
April 12 will be Papa's 2nd year death anniversary. He has taught me how to serve others without asking anything in return.
My parents love us so much that their death anniversaries are just 3 days apart, allowing us to visit them without having to skip school and other commitments.
