When I was a kid I'd rather play sports than play with dolls. I was not a big fan of Hello Kittty although my father used to send Hello Kitty and other Sanrio cute stuff while he was working abroad. I only started appreciating this lovely character when I gave birth to twins because Julia loves anything pink.
We didn't let the opportunity pass without visiting Hello Kitty Island while we were in Korea. Hello Kitty Island is a special exhibition hall, themed around Hello Kitty. Visitors can enjoy various exhibits, a gift shop, Kitty History Hall, Art Education Hall, Music Education Hall, Art Gallery, World Gallery Hall, Trip around the World Gallery Hall, Constellation Education Hall, Special Gallery, Hello Kitty Café, 3D Theater, Outdoor Modeling Gallery, and more.
The place is not that big but good enough to cute photos with Hello Kitty mementos.
