Monticillo Lorenzo Review

I've been too busy with the opening of classes so I was not able to book a hotel for our Davao trip early.  John and I decided to book Monticillo Lorenzo right after landing Davao International Airport. We chose Monticillo Lorenzo based the rates (almost P1,760) and the photos provided by booking.com.

What we like about Monticillo Lorenzo:

1.The staff, Jenny, was very kind. 
2. The pool is nice. 
3.  Siopao and hot choco's delicious. 
4. Located near 911 and Yellow Fin Resto. 
5. Plenty of trees and plants. 
6. Near public transport.

What we didn't like about Monticillo Lorenzo:
1. There was a cat poop near our room. 
2.  No intercom and telephone so we had to go down several times to aske for things we need.
3.  There's no comforter in the room. When I told the receptionist about it, she said, they provide comforter upon the request of the guest. They should have told us that upon our arrival, not when we are about to leave.
4.  Booking.com's published rate for the room we got was P1,440. It was what they sent me via email. as well. When we got to Monticillo, they're charging us  P1,760. I hope next time booking,com will  be transparent to publish the rate + whatever taxes included so that the guests and hotel owners won't have miscommunication issues at all about rates.
