How would you know if you're eating at an authentic Italian restaurant? First, they've got to have fresh pasta. Fresh pasta would strictly mean freshly-made from scratch and using only the finest ingredients. Second, brick ovens are used to bake pizza because Italians have been using brick ovens to cook pizza since ancient times. Third, they use fresh tomatoes that is boiled to perfection to achieve a delectable fusion of all the ingredients.
At Bistro Ravioli, you get all the three requirements of a good old pasta experience - freshly-made pasta, pizza cooked in brick-ovens and boiled fresh tomatoes.
If you haven't been to any Bistro Ravioli you're missing an excellent Italian meal that's easy on the pocket. My husband who's not much into Italian food enjoyed the pasta, chicken, desserts and coffee.
When you finally decide to try this place, don't forget to order their Spinach Ravioli, which is my personal favorite, and Tiramisu, Choco Lava and Panna Cotta with Strawberry. Their desserts were included in Phil. Daily Inquirer's Best Desserts Book 2.
