On our day in HK I made sure to make it a light day so the kids won't feel to tired. The itinerary was just chill and enjoy Victoria Peak from 3pm to 7pm. Just enough time to see the clear sky in the afternoon and the sunset at night.
I bought the tickets at Klook two weeks before our trip to Hong Kong. I am highly recommending you do the same to skip the long line to ride the tram. I also suggest you buy the round trip ticket if you're going at the Peak during night time.
The recommended route to Victoria Peak is by way of the Peak Tram. The base of the Peak Tram is located within walking distance from the MTR's Central station. The tram opens at 7 a.m. and closes at midnight Monday to Sunday.
Some visitors suggested hiring a taxi or taking the bus to get to the top. Others tourist who are more adventurous, suggested a walking tour and wandering along marked pathways for a different expereince. Check the weather before you go, as Hong Kong can get foggy.
What to expect at Victoria Peak, commonly called The Peak?
1. Peak Tower and the Peak Galleria, with the latter offering access to its observation deck free of charge.
2. 2-mile-long Peak Circle Walk, which takes you along cliffside paths to the scenic Lugard Road lookout point.
3.Dining and shopping options at the Peak Tower and Peak Galleria
4. Lions View Point Pavillion.
5. Lots of tourists and long line to ride the tram😁
