Baguio City is one place my family and I visit at least once a year. We've been to Baguio countless times and we still get excited with the 4 hour drive, expecting to eat strawberries to our hearts (should I say stomach?) content.
Our travel to The City of Pines is usually harried. Our trip this weekend was a lot different. We were extra ordinarily relaxed at our stay in Mines View Park Hotel.
It was our first time to stay in this part of Baguio and I must say, we felt we should have been there long ago. The hotel is far from the noise and the crowded area. We actually felt it was colder in Mines View Park Hotel, maybe because the hotel is located on a higher ground with lots of trees than the other areas.
I love that the room we stayed for the first night has a view of the Cordillera Mountains right from our bedroom window! I was able to capture the sunrise just while yawning and stretching after having a good night sleep.
Unlike other hotels, Mines View Park Hotel only has 27 beautifully appointed and very comfortable guest rooms so it is a must that you book ahead of time. They also have Function Rooms that can accommodate small to medium scale Corporate Events, Sales Conferences and Team Buildings or even Retreats, as well as Social events like Debuts, Anniversaries, Birthdays and many more.

Located right beside the historical Mines View Park, City of Pines, Baguio City. A stones-throw away from the bustling Baguio Metropolis. The hotel is within a stones-throw from the popular universities and shopping malls, and new commercial establishments. Surrounded by famous landmarks like Good Shepherd, The Mansion and Wright Park. And about 15 minutes away from Session Road.
While at Mines View Park Hotel, you have to dine at their flagship restaurant ZEN's Bar and Restaurant. They offers a wide variety of gastronomic surprises like the Mines View Park Hotel's signature dish,g."We had our breakfast and dinner at Zenz Bar and Restaurant, where a wide variety of gastronomic surprises, including that of Strawberry Sinigang, Pork Chicken Adobo with Strawberry on top, Strawberry Bibing Crepe and Bibing Crisp, which are all the hotel's original dish.
Halfmoon Café, with its very famous "Bibing-Crepe" and Bibing Crisp, best paired with Benguet coffee, is a must-try when you're in the City of Pines.
They also have a Fitness Center with the latest state of the art equipment. Imagine working out overlooking the .
If you want to read a book or just take a look at lush mountains of the Cordilleras, go to their "The View Deck" located at the 5th level of the new building.
