Wawa Dam

In case you plan to visit Mt. Ayaas and its nearby mountains make sure to drop by at Wawa Dam and see its beauty. You can actually just go there for Wawa Dam itself without hiking or trekking the mountains. The place is a quick and cheap getaway anytime. this weekend?

Located just 2 hours away from Manila, depending on the traffic.  Wawa Dam is a legendary and historic site, a giant named Bernardo Carpio split the mountain into two (Mt. Pamitinan and Mt. Binacayan). Historically, the site was used as a hide out by the revolutionary leader Supremo Andres Bonifacio.

We didn't have a hard time locating the place since Teacher Arlene is familiar in it since she visits Mt Ayaas for trail run practice. She even brought her car. John left our car in Mcdo Ever Gotesco Commonwealth.

There are public transport, just Google them, you'll find your way there.

What to do: Sightseeing, buy fruits and veggies, picnic, swimming, biking, hiking, rock climbing and lots of photo op!

Address: M. H. Del Pilar Street, Rodriguez, Rizal
