While doing yoga in Fitness First before the quarantine, Teacher Ram incorporates a little of pilates in our class. I must say I extra love his class because pilates somehow helped me recover from some pain in the body.
Pilates (or the Pilates method) is a series of about 500 exercises inspired by calisthenics, yoga and ballet. Pilates lengthens and stretches all the major muscle groups in the body in a balanced fashion. It improves flexibility, strength, balance and body awareness. Yoga can help deepen your meditation practice, improve your flexibility, and help with balance. Pilates may be better for recovering after injury, improving posture, and for core strength.
I am happy to announce that even if I'm at home I can now enjoy a full Online Pilates Class with Ms. Fritzie Colacion of Vitalive Tagaytay.
