Splash Mountain Resorts Hotel

Soaking in hot spring is one of the activities we missed during the lockdown so it's a top priority for us to do in 2021.  I originally pencil booked a beautiful private hot spring in Los Banos for P16,000 but when we visited the place it was totally different from what I saw in Facebook. John and I spent half of the day looking for the best private resort but to no avail. We almost gave up when John remembered this place we've stayed 10 years ago with our kids, Nora, Lani (+) and their respective kids. We can't remember the resort's name but we continued to drive until we see the signage.

We did an instant ocular and we've decided Splash Mountain Resorts Hotel is way better than those we've checked earlier.

At P2,580 (rate includes overnight accommodation, breakfast for 2, and use of big pool) Splash Mountain Resorts Hotel is a go to place if you wish to enjoy an inexpensive staycation.

What we like:

1. Low rate

2. Near Manila

3.  Room with hotspring Jacuzzi.

4. Super accommodating staff, special mention goes to Maricel.

5. Safe, they strictly follow Covid Protocols.

6. Bringing of cooked food is allowed without corkage fee.

What we don't like:

1. Dated interior. Repainting is necessary.

Benefits of soaking in hot spring:

Hot springs can be a great way to naturally detox your skin due to its high amount of silica in the water, it can also soften rough or dry skin. Plus, the mineral content of sulfur springs has been shown to help persisting skin conditions like psoriasis, acne and eczema. According to the Arthritis Foundation, warm water works wonders to relieve pain, with effects that last long after your soak. For maximum therapeutic benefit, doctors recommend soaking for 20 minutes at a time, combined with gentle stretches in the water.
