Day 220 of 2021 - Day 220 of 2021 - My recent trip to Spacio in Caliraya was made more fun when they gave me one big plastic of Santol. As soon as I got home I cooked Ginataang Santol. 💗
Ingredients: 3 kilos santol, 4 cups of freshly squeezed coconut milk, onion, garlic, sauteed bagoong alamang(add according to your taste), patis, siling pang sigang, siling labuyo (optional), malunggay (optional)
1. Peel the santol
2. Cut into small pieces
3. Blend
4. Squeeze out the water
5. Saute onion and garlic, add santol. Put coconut milk. Add bagoong. Add malunggay
6. Cook in low fire for an hour or more if needed.
7. Add sili, patis
