The Barlor

My family do almost all things together except going to a salon or a parlor. It's either John and I go together; Julia and I; John goes with Rafael and Juan for their haircut; or I go with the boys. We simply never go as a family in a salon, until last Wednesday when we went at The Barlor.

The Barlor is a Bar and Parlor in one. It is located in 24 San Joaquin St., Plainview, Mandaluyong City (just a few steps away from Kanto Freestyle Breakfast).

Hairstlylists and staff

At The Barlor, you can order to have your hair cut, colored, straigthened or curled; or have your nails done, while having a sip of you favorite drink (both alcoholic and non-alcoholic).

This is where dads can chill while waiting for wifey and the kids.

You can also order snacks or gourmet food from the nearby Kanto Freestyle Breakfast.

It's really hard for my boys, yes, including my husband, to be satisfied when it comes to haircut. Stylist Arlod certainly made John, Rafael and Juan happy. 

Julia wants her hair long so she does not go to parlors. I'm the one who trims her hair at home.

Stylist Arnold made her happy with her new layered (still long) hair.

Juan and Rafael had their hair cut just a week prior to out visit at The Barlor. Juan was crying because his hair was murdered, his cut actually looked like Jim Carrey at Dumb and Dumber movie; and Rafael's hair was uneven. Thanks to Stylist Arnold for making my boys satisfied with their respective hair.

The Barlor will be having its grand opening next week. If you happen to live around Mandaluyong or near Mandaluyong, go and try their services, drinks and food. You will not regret it.
