La Vida Orchard Bed and Breakfast Review

Our trip to Samal Island is impromptu so I booked for an overnight stay at La Vida Orchard Bed and Breakfast in less than 3 hours. I based my booking because I like the photo provided by booking.com. Plus, La Vida had the  cheapest rate at the time of booking.

I made the right choice because the owners, Mrs. Deborah and Mr. Alberto, were very nice. Ma'am Deb even made mango smoothie for us because they have plenty of mangoes while we were there. Their breakfast starts at 630am but Ma'am Deb made sure we had breakfast at 530am before heading to our Samal adventure.

What I didn't like? One, the water coming from the shower is too weak. It took us longer time to rinse off. No tv and wifi in the room. Wifi and tv is only available in the lobby and adjacent dining area so I was not able to finish my work at night. No soap and toothbrush provided in the room. They only have 2 small sachets of shampoo- with-conditioner.

Overall, our stay in La Vida is fairly nice because of the friendly reception from the owners, especially Ma'am Deb. Nino, the manager and son of the owners, even connected us with the best tour guide and service vehicle, Kuya Joseph. Hire Kuya Joseph if you plan to tour Samal Island.
