My gym mate Marilyn and I plans to buy a farm so we scheduled a tripping with another gym mate Lourdes. Since we were bringing our own car for the site trip I decided to do a road trip to the nearby Treasure Mountain located in Tanay, Rizal to witness the sea of clouds but we weren't lucky enough because it was raining during our visit.
If you like Baguio, Benguet or Sagada feels you might want to visit this place but make sure you do not go on a rainy day because we had difficulty traversing thru the place due to super slippery road. It was also a holiday, Edsa Day to be exact, so there were too many people that I had a hard taking photos and videos.
There were activities to be done there but because it was raining hard, we only got to enjoy looking at the mountain. We also bought fruits and vegetables.
Things to remember:
Walk-ins are allowed for Day Tour (7AM-4PM), with an Entrance Fee of Php150/head (Adult) and Php100/head (Children 10 years old and below).
Reservations are required for Overnight (4PM-1PM Next Day), with an Entrance Fee: Php200/pax

How To Get There:
Private Car:
Via Marcos Highway or Via Sampaloc in Tanay. We took Marcos Highway which is easier coming from Metro ManilaJ ump-off point going to Mt. Sapari and Mt. Binutasan (Maysawa Circuit). From the jump-off, you’re about 1.5 kilometers away from your destination.
You can opt to drive your car until you reach Treasure Mountain or park it at the jump-off site and ride a tricycle for Php50/pax or Php150/ride until the gate.
Via Public Transportation Via Cogeo and via Tanay.
Via Cogeo:
Take a van or jeepney going to Cogeo Gate 2 or Padilla for Php24.
At Gate 2, take a jeepney bound for Sampaloc, Tanay via Marcos Highway for Php45
Get off at Sitio Maysawa (Maysawa Circuit).
Note that jeepney’s last trip is at around 5pm-6pm.
Via Tanay:
Take a jeepney going to Tanay Public Market.
From the Public Market, take a jeepney directly to Cuyambay.
Get off at Sitio Maysawa (Maysawa Circuit).
