Earl of Sandwich

John, Julia and I are not eating rice anymore so Earl of Sandwich is one of our favorite sandwich place to go to right before the quarantine happened. Can't wait to eat there again...

As legend has it in 1762, John Montagu, the 4th Earl of Sandwich, invented the meal that changed dining forever. It is said he was playing cards and did not want to leave the gaming table to eat. He asked for a serving of roast beef to be placed between two slices of bread so he could eat with his hands.

What can I say? Since after this event, I've been eating there for 4 days because of the bread's perfect crunch on the outside yet still chewy inside. I like the tomato soup a lot! It goes well with any sandwich!

Among the menu that we had - Earl's Cobb Salad, Tomato Soup, The Earl's Club, The Full Montagu, The Original 1762, Spaghetti Carbonara, Spicy Shrimp Pasta, Hand-Crafted Wraps, Buffalo Chicken and Spicy Tuna. My personal favorites are Earl's Cobb Salad, Tomato Soup, The Earl's Club and Spicy Shrimp Pasta.
