Day 261 of 2021 - Villa Escudero, finally! 💗
It was June 24, 1992 when I first fell in love with the Filipino-themed resort, Villa Escudero in Tiaong, Quezon. I saw on national television, at the grandest and star-studded wedding of Rudy and Lorna. Since then, I promised to visit the place but being a working college student kept me busy. I immediately landed a job right after graduation. That kept me even busier. In 1999, I again planned to visit the place but my husband (who was then my boyfriend) surprised me with a Thailand trip. In 2000, I wanted our honeymoon to be spent in Villa Escudero but John and I decided to go to Hong Kong instead.
To cut the longer story short, when the pandemic happened last year, I told John we must visit the place as soon as it opens.
Finally after 29 years, hello Villa Escudero! I booked via their FB Page. Gcash payment is available.
What I like? Everything! It's just that their museum is closed and no cultural show. That's understandable since they follow IATF's guidleines.
